They didn't call it World War II for nothing. It involved a large number of countries to a major extent worldwide. Each country produced its own homefront items. England and Canada for example generated large numbers of items and can readily be found today. Other countries that were occupied quickly like France produced items often in association with the resistance. These items are emerging and highly sought after. There are some collectors that specialize in Non-American homefront items. One of the great collections is displayed in a fabulous reference called The Wartime Scrapbook. A simply marvelous array of British homefront items is assembled. These Non-American homefront items reflect the cultural differences between countries and make for an interesting collection. We display an archive of Non-American homefront items listed by country or region.
